Ordering Policy:
Specialty cakes require five-days notice with a non-refundable deposit of 33% due at the time your order is placed. Depending on availability, specialty cakes are deliverable; however, a fee is required for delivery outside the allot able 15-mile radius.
Wedding cakes also require a 33% non-refundable deposit at the time your order is placed with final payment due 30 calendar days prior to delivery date. In the event of a cancellation, a 50% fee will be imposed 15 calendar days prior to your event date. After that date, there will be no refund. Cash or money orders, only, are accepted as final payment. Those cakes requiring stand, candleholder, or fountain rentals will be assessed an additional deposit commiserate with rental fee. All rentals shall be returned within seven business days of the event with any damages requiring reimbursement at full retail price. Wedding cakes are delivered and set-up free of charge within a 25-mile radius. Wedding cakes may be picked up from Made From Scratch (MFS); however, once it leaves our premises, MFS cannot accept responsibility for any damages. In the event of a wedding postponement, every effort will be made to accommodate the new date; however, deposits are good for three months, after which there will be no refund. We understand that there are uncontrollable circumstances and that is why you have our "Satisfaction Guarantee," We promise to do our best to work with you. All returned checks are assessed a thirty-five dollar penalty plus court costs/fees.
Cakes are shipped FedEx or UPS. Orders must be placed 4 days in advance. Orders are shipped using two day or next day shipping service. Saturday and Sunday delivery is not available. Shipped in USA only. We are unable to process orders for delivery to P.O. Box or APO's. Delivery service may leave package at the door (at your request) if no one is home or return with a pick up label. If items are not picked up it will be disposed of and there is no refund. Shipping and handling fees are computed once order is placed. Sorry no C.O.D. Due to shipping and handling, wedding and specialty cakes are not shipped through the mail.
